Description

These Air Fryer Frozen Chicken wings come out perfectly crispy on the outside while staying juicy inside, even though we start with them rock hard straight from the freezer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound frozen chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce or any wing sauce you love

Instructions

  1. Set your air fryer to 400°F. Preheat for 3 to 4 minutes if needed.
  2. Take the wings straight from the freezer and place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. Air fry at 400°F for 10 minutes. Use tongs to separate any wings stuck together. Cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the wings and transfer to a bowl. Add BBQ sauce and toss to coat.
  5. Place the sauced wings back into the air fryer. Cook for 3-5 minutes at 400°F.
  6. Check with a meat thermometer. Ensure wings reach 165°F inside.
