Description
Peach boba with homemade peach syrup
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 tbsp. peach syrup
- 1 cup of hot water
- Jasmine green tea
- 1/2 cup of milk
- ice cubes
- 2 tbsp. cooked boba pearls
- peach wedges
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and then add the boba pearls. Heat over medium-high and cook for around 15 minutes until the boba floats. Turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for another 15 minutes. Strain under running water and coat with syrup or sugar.
- Add around 1 cup of hot water (around 80°C) to jasmine green tea. Steep for around 5 minutes. Strain the tea liquid and add 3 ice cubes to cool it quickly. You can use a jasmine green tea bag for a shortcut.
- Add peach and the cooled tea liquid to a juicer, blend until very smooth.
- Add boba, ice cubes, syrup, and milk into a serving glass. Use a small amount of syrup as the peach has its own sweetness. You can double the syrup for a sweeter taste.
- Finally, pour in the peach and tea liquid. The color will be beautiful. Insert a straw and enjoy your peach bubble tea.
Notes
- Homemade peach syrup can be made by simmering peaches with sugar and water.
- Adjust the syrup quantity based on your sweetness preference.
- Use fresh peaches for better flavor.
